Trickling Springs Organic and Trickling Springs FarmFriend product withdrawal

At Trickling Springs Creamery, we are dedicated to producing dairy products that meet the highest standards from our grass fed cows to your table. During the week of March 21 we had a mechanical error in our production plant that resulted in a gap in our pasteurization records. This gap was discovered on Friday morning, March 25 during a daily inspection of the records. We immediately notified our local regulatory plant inspector and implemented a product withdrawal process. All of the milk in question was safely pasteurized and bottled, but out of an abundance of caution we voluntarily withdrew all affected products. All stores that had received these products were immediately contacted.

Each of the affected products in question has been tested to confirm that they were effectively pasteurized, and there are no food safety concerns at this time. As a part of our commitment to bringing the best products possible to the marketplace, processes to ensure that an occurrence like this is prevented in the future has been implemented.

Trickling Springs Creamery has been processing fresh, grass fed dairy products using milk from their community of family farms since 2001. They have led the industry in establishing high standards for their farms to follow in taking the best care of their animals and land. Their dairy products are Non-GMO Project Verified and/or Certified Organic. Today their products are sold throughout the eastern United States from Connecticut to Florida.
